The aim is to analyse into the concept of postmodern philosophic thought as a source of inspiration and ideas that whitethorn assist us in thought the problems facing our society. The approach adopted for this exploration is to break up postmodernism into three distinct precisely interrelated concepts: one, postmodernism as an shape; two, postmodernism as a signifier of the problematical features or the limits of modernness; and three, postmodernism as a reaction to or a liberation from modernism. This paper investigates into the first two concepts of postmodernism. The third concept: postmodernism as a reaction to or a departure from modernity has been introduced here but will be discussed in specific in the good continuation to this paper to be print in a later issue.
