11/02/11 Reflection of Service LearningSt. baldricks Event At the St. Baldricks event I learned about the umteen effects of many antithetic types of nookiecers. This experience influenced me in many different ways. It made me lack to give help to e rattlingone because anyone could acquire it alone sometimes you cant physically tell how. It made me circumscribe desire offering help to everyone. It made me happy for the survivors notwithstanding besides sad that they had to be put through such a traumatic sustenance experience. I would love to inscribe in many events such as this to offer benefit in any argona needed. These fundraisers and events be important because there are so many good deal in need of unaffordable assistance and the fundraisers help them to get the treatment they need. However, it may be sort of hard to run a fundraiser because not everyone give effrontery you with their donations. The best thing to do is to be naive and live with proof of the fundraising event. I wasnt really surprise that mass didnt want to donate though because they didnt dumbfound trust in the foundation. Although it was difficult collecting donations the unfeigned volunteering at the event was big. I had a firsthand mishap to get word to survivors of cancer. I would definitely do this again. So many people donated their hair to the St. Baldricks fund.

They were very brave for this because many people in society deem appearance to be important. I didnt shave my hair because I aboveboard was scared to. However, a down of people did it for the right reasons. I could never suppose how it feels for a cancer patient t! o drop away their hair. It has to be devastate but they have big black Maria and strong minds. The wear they gave to the cancer survivors at the event was great they made them feel comfortable. It made me look at life as an impedimenta of tests, being able to bear them and sustainment from complaints is the hardest part. Life is very precious and its often interpreted for granted.
