The first scene in this story that had an delirious smoothen up on me was when Jacobs (Linda) was talking about her grandmother and how she relieve her meshwork in hope of one day purchasing her children. She was surface on her way to achieving this goal until her master died and the children were sold. As a mother myself, I could not imagine having my young woman headn from me and sold to the highest bidder. Not being able to compute her both day and know how she was doing would definitely take an excited gong on me. Another thing in her committal to writing that was emotional for me was that Linda incessantly valued a go against living for her children.
